“ Love Has “ images depict the wonders of snow covered forest and shores of Hornby Island, the delight of the lolling Sea lions from an aerial vantage point. He composes the pictures to make compelling compositions of light and dark while at the same time reveal the wonders of the coast in winter. Printing on brushed aluminum gives the photos a beautiful and uncanny inner light.
Has`s first visited Hornby Island in 2008, He hunkered down at the old residence of Jack Shadbolt with his partner in 2020 &2021 during the Pandemic restrictions. An avid fan of Drones and Drone Photography. El-Sherbiny shot his Winter Hornby Series photos in early 2021 during a harsh but beautiful, snowy &cold spell. In 2018 he was commissioned to do a drone shots of Esther Shalev public art piece” The Shadow “at the University of British Columbia.
